Buku Jalanan Chow Kit first started out in the streets to provide education to the children living on the streets. They helped children from the Chow Kit area who are poor and under-privileged, some who also known as ‘Stateless Children’ whereby they are not recognized as a citizen in Malaysia although born in Malaysia. They have recently managed to rent a space to cater for these children to provide shelter when their parents are away for work, education and also food.
Little Yellow Flower has come to know about Buku Jalanan Chow Kit in February 2018 and after researching and understanding more, we are now supporting their Lunch Program for 25 children, every Monday to Friday.
