Kenny Rogers Roasters has successfully organized its 8th Chicken Run on 8th of July at Desa Waterpark, Kuala Lumpur and raised RM 60,000 which was contributed to the Little Yellow Flower Berhad (previously known as Hope Education Foundation). The cheque was presented to Little Yellow Flower Malaysia co-founder, Lee Sinje. The fund will be used mainly for the Nutritious Lunch and Tuition Program and also other projects run by Little Yellow Flower such as “Reading Wonderland” and many more.
Through the Nutritious Lunch and Tuition Program, these children would be able to get at least one healthy meal a day and being coached by volunteer tuition teachers in their studies.
The interesting run day, where participants had to juggle an egg while completing the running trail has already attracted more than 3,000 runners of all ages. This event was also co-organised by Desa Water Park, and supporting partners BCard, Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, Berjaya Air, High 5, H-Two-O, Milo, Nature Valley, Sport Toto Fitness Centre, Unilever Food Solutions & Yeo’s.
