Natural disasters happen when you least expect and rescue operations cannot be delayed. Little Yellow Flower Foundation went on ground to one of the most affected flood areas in Kampung Bukit Lanchong, Shah Alam. Lanchang, Pahang and Kg Baru Cheras Batu 11.
According to the victims, when the flood occurred, the houses in the whole village were submerged by the rain water and river and all the villagers were homeless. The victims are placed in evacuation centers at designated places like schools and public halls.
With the support from different donors, Little Yellow Flower Foundation was able to prepare hundreds of sets of these necessities in just a few days and went on ground to send the items over immediately the next day for more than 250 families affected to relieve their urgent needs.Little Yellow Flower would like to thank the public and volunteers in helping the flood victims to overcome the difficulties and return to normal their life as soon as possible.
