After a year of operation, we have come to learn more about the interest of the indigenous children in Kg Gurney and hope for them to explore and interact more with others.
We spoke to the founder of Hands Percussion Malaysia and he gladly arranged his schedule to have classes with the children. The drum classes are scheduled to to be held every Wednesday afternoon for an hour and a half.
The children enjoyed the class so much and it attracted several youths as well when they were having classes. By having drum classes, it is also proven that the children are more focused and have better confidence even in usual classes. Some of them have been identified to have potential and will be groomed further.
