18th January 2020 marks an important day for Little Yellow Flower Foundation and also one of its ‘Little Flower’, Ravi. One of the founders; Sinje, and Little Yellow Flower’s team sent him off on his first day of school in Vtar for an Electrical Installation and Maintenance Course. Now, he has completed his studies and graduated on this memorable day!
Ravi was a little 6 years old boy when he joined Little Yellow Flower Foundation. We supported, guided, revived his spirits and passion in something he loves and enjoys doing when he dropped out of school at the age of 13. With the continuous support and encouragement from us, we finally managed to enrol him into a vocational school to continue his studies. Ravi worked really hard at studying and honed his skill further vowing not to give up halfway.
On this graduation day it was a momentous and touching one. Ravi was grinning from ear-to-ear and the moment he walked onto the stage to receive his certificate; his parents were beaming happily while we from Little Yellow Flower Foundation were in tears of joy! Ravi is definitely a living and the most successful testimonial of Little Yellow Flower Foundation and we have promised to continue to help him to transform and lead towards a better life, hoping to break the chain of poverty!
