Carpentry Experience

The carpentry workshop’s objective is to encourage our children to work with their own hands. Having a basic skill to build and fix things is the best skill one can benefit from for their whole life.
Since early May, we have been conducting weekly carpentry workshops at our center. The children’s first project is “Make a treasure box”. In the early two weeks, Uncle David, the workshop mentor introduced all the tools and taught the children how to handle the tools correctly and safely. Let’s see how our children build with their own hands, at the same time build their confidence and learn to be independent through this workshop. Stay tuned.
