Dong Dong Dong Chiang! Its a brand new year again and time to celebrate! This year, children from Puchong were brought over to the KL center. Founder Sinje has joined in with her friends to celebrate with the children.

The day started off with Sinje sharing the story of Chinese New Year with the children and following on, taught them 1 Chinese New Year song. After that, the children had a round of game dropping and chasing the hanky til there is a winner from each group.
After a small prize giving session for the games, the children took a morning tea break and then resume to gather in their respective groups where 1-2 volunteers are assigned to each group teaching then to make fishes out of angpau packets.

When everyone had one fish in hand, their fishes were gathered and clipped together to make a long strand/ stream of fishes and hung on the wall by Sinje, explaining and teaching them on unity and strength when combined together . Lastly, the children formed a line collecting their lunch meal by Kenny Rogers, goodie bags and angpaus. A final happy and cheerful group picture was taken before the children departed home.
